Exploring Birmingham

This Saturday, we went to Birmingham. Birmingham is a city almost in the North of England. Luckily, it only takes about two and a half hour to get there by coach. Two of my friends and I met up quite early at Victoria Coach Station in Central London and hopped on a coach to Birmingham. As we were all fairly tired from going to bed late and waking up early we used the bus-ride to catch up on some sleep.

Diesen Samstag ging es für mich nach Birmingham. Dies ist eine Stadt im nördlicheren Teil von England und mit dem Bus haben wir gut zwei einhalb Stunden gebraucht, bis wir ankamen. Dementsprechend früh haben wir uns dann auch an der Coach Station in Victoria, Central London, getroffen. Ich habe den Tag mit zwei Mädels aus meinem Englischkurs verbracht und wir sind alle drei erst einmal wieder direkt eingeschlafen, nachdem wir unsere Plätze im Bus gefunden hatten. 

Personally, I don't think Birmingham is as exciting as London. It isn't even half as big and I wouldn't describe it as beautiful. Still, there was loads to see and we enjoyed our trip a lot. One of the things I loved the most was the "Frankfurt Christmas Market". 

Birmingham ist nicht besonders groß im Gegensatz zu London und ich würde es auch nicht als besonders schön bezeichnen, da es eher eine Industriestadt ist. Es hat aber trotzdem Spaß gemacht, mal wieder eine neue Stadt zu erkunden. Am meisten hat mir der Frankfurter Weihnachtsmarkt gefallen.
