Tuesday morning, Sade and I went out for some coffee. We were seated over-looking Kingston's market place. Last week a christmas market was opened there and it looks very lovely! Quite small but very German and one can finde anything one would also find on a German Christmas Market.
We strolled along the stalls and quickly decided that we had to come back with our girls soon to have some hot cider.
Dienstag Vormittag habe ich mich mit Sade auf einen Kaffe in Kingston getroffen. Der Costa, den wir gewählt hatten, war im zweiten Stock, somit hatten wir einen schönen Ausblick über den Marktplatz. Seit dieser Woche gibt es dort einen Weihnachtsmarkt, der einen sehr an Deutschland erinnert. Er ist zwar sehr klein, dafür gibt es aber alles, was das Herz begehrt und wir haben auch schon geplant nochmal an einem Abend zurück zu kehren und mit unserer Mädelsgruppe einen Glühwein zu trinken.

LöschenI never bothered to visit the Christmas markets in England as I didn't think they were all that good, but since visiting a few in Germany I am intrigued to know if they come close at all!
AntwortenLöschenThey don't really come close at all - all of the ones I've seen so far were a lot small but most of them do serve German "Glühwein", so that's something all of us Germans love to have once in a while :)
